About Patu Tifinger

Patu Tifinger is an artist, photographer and designer working in two-dimensional, three-dimensional and digital media. Her passion and experience with visual arts and digital technology enables her to powerfully express ideas in any media she chooses to adopt.

She was born in Budapest, Hungary and she's been living and creating in different countries throughout Europe, North- and South America. She participated in several art and cultural projects in the US, in Brazil, in Hungary and in the UK. She lives in London and works as a web designer at the Science Museum.

  • Participating in BAC! 09 Barcelona with Kukkolo.
  • Multimedia project for NEAD/Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil (2009)

  • "Skin Tales", Frieze edition - London, UK (2008) - Live art on the outskirt of Frieze Art Fair
  • "Patuart Manta" one day of live art and performance with Jane Sacco - Rambla, Barcelona (2008/4/5)
  • "Empty Flat - Budapest" - a four day event with performance, workshops and solo retrospective of Patu's drawings and collages in Budapest (2008/3/20-23)
  • "My House Your House" - Art Bazaar in Juiz de Fora, Brazil (2007) - Exhibition with live music, installations and performances
  • "Art & Interactivity" - Art Invasion of Savassi Jazz Festival, a one day individual show in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in front of the Celma Albuquerque Art Gallery (2007)
  • “Urban Interaction” installation for Project Creo - The Arts Center in St Petersburg, FL, USA (2005)
  • Sculpture project for the Recreation Center of the City of Gulfport, FL, USA (2001)
  • Developed and led a series of creative workshops for artists and professionals - "Visual thinking and composition" & "Drawing - another approach" - in the Centro Cultural Bernardo Mascarenhas in Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil (2000)
  • Designed sceneries and costumes at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest, Hungary (1997-1999)
  • Coordinated art workshops for children and teens at the Lauder/JOINT International Youth Camp, Hungary (1994-1996)
  • Youth leader at Habonim Dror Hungary, participated organizing several educational, cultural and art activities, Hungary (1993-1997)
